Zeinab Mohamed, VP Academic Affairs

English

Zeinab Mohamed is a first-year student in the JD program at the University of Ottawa, English Common Law Section. Prior to law school, Zeinab attended York University, where she completed a Specialized Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology & Health Science, and a Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. While in undergrad, Zeinab advocated for many different causes, including writing an article in Psychology Today about the student homelessness she observed while on campus.

As BLSA’s VP Academic Affairs, Zeinab’s goal is to curate opportunities that enable students who are attending in-person classes to connect with students who are attending law school virtually. Her aim is to create an environment that facilitates the ability for students to form life-long connections, regardless of how they choose to engage in their legal studies.

During her free time, Zeinab enjoys going out for nature walks, gardening, listening to podcasts and learning new languages. She is currently in the process of learning both French and Arabic.
